Penny Stuckey, a Midwest native, moved toNew York after college to pursue her dream of working on stage, followed by a move to Hollywood to work in the film industry. Eventually, she was lured to thePacific Northwest by its lush countryside and a new way of life. In 1976, while living in Olympia,Washington, Penny began her real estate career, opening her own brokerage firm in 1984. In 2000, after spending three months competing with her horse in Southern Pines, she realized the Sandhills was the area for her. She returned to Washington, sold her farm and moved to Southern Pines. “I love the Sandhills and have never looked back!” said Stuckey.
“I obtained myNorth Carolina real estate license in 2006 and have been selling properties since that time. Real estate offers me the opportunity to expand on two areas of my life which I really enjoy. I love meeting people and introducing them to this wonderful area, in addition to sharing information regarding horse properties and the various riding and competition opportunities and events the Sandhills has to offer.” Stuckey continued, “I am excited to be affiliated with Prudential Gouger O’Neal & Saunders Real Estate. Everyone has been most welcoming and willing to help me settle-in. The professionalism among the agents is unsurpassed and I look forward to a long relationship with the company.”
