Soldier Boxes

Sales Professionals with Prudential Gouger O’Neal & Saunders Real Estate join in the efforts to send our military troops overseas goodie boxes, and to let them know they are not forgotten here at home.

This morning a huge van left our home bound for Ft. Bragg and it was filled to capacity.  I lost count on boxes after about 300 plus several large boxes of things like Beanie Babies and deflated soccer balls, drinks and all sorts of things.  Your boxes were all stuffed to the top.

 You have done a great job and I know our troops will be pleased.  Thank each and every one of you!

 We will try for a plane hopefully in September and then again in December (which must be to me by November {the week after Thanksgiving}).

 We can do home baked stuff for the Christmas shipment but they must be of a type that can still be nice up to 2-3 weeks.

 Anyhow, we will be shipping again and if you see goodies on sale, get them for September.

 I am so proud of you all for all your creativeness and willingness.  We are truly blessed to have these wonderful service people and civilians who appreciate all they do and want to help in any way they can.

 I will be sending a new list of “wants” from the troops as soon as I get it from the folks at Ft. Bragg.  One thing they mentioned was ground coffee for the outpost areas. (I would never have thought of that!)

 The boxes are gone and the work is done but the prayers are needed more than ever.
